We are very excited about selling our first house. As we’ve never sold a house before, we dont really know what to expect, what we should do etc.
We have totally renovated our house, gutted the entire inside. Its basically brand new inside. Very modern but its still small. Any advise to make it seem bigger on first glance?
Do you have tips that will make our house sell quicker, look more inviting/comfortable? Anything that you look back on in retrospect and wish that you’d done?

my husband has been transferred to another branch at work and we need to move. we have seen a house to buy but need to sell ours fast. does any one have any ideas how ,we tried quick cash for homes but due to market they wont give us a decent price even know we are prepared to come down 15%

I just refinanced after my husband’s death….I don’t want the house anymore - the loan is 93,000 and it is worth 100,000. I just want to walk away - foreclose???? I don’t have the time or energy to try to sell. I have another house waiting - owner will hold the mortgage and I can get 20% down out of an IRA - but he wants to sell ASAP and he has contingent offers. I don’t care if I lose on this house - I just want out!!!

I was planning not list my home for any broker but would give my house sheets to all brokers in the area and if any agent or broker get me a buyer then I give them 3.5% commision for the buyer side but I will not use a seller agency.
I was thinking of going to all brokers and give them some handouts of my house. Would they just throw it in the trash can or tell buyers there is a house on sale that is not on any listings?
This way I can lower my home price to better able to sell my house quicker since I need to move out of state.
Is it also common to give credit of $10,000 to $15,000 for the buyers so they can use the money for remodeling or should I just lower the price so low below market to attract buyers?
I did sold my first home be self but the buyer was an real estate agent. He got a good deal. I have to move so I was think of using an agent but just asking is it hard or easier to sell this way from my question. Or what about 4% to the buyer agent? It should attract more agents to send buyers to look at my house. Am I right?
I’m using logic here but the only thing is maybe brokers have a pact that they don’t deal with such transactions. I will have to go to some brokers and see what they say.
The worst case is I go with a broker and pay them 6%. I have more leeway to lower the price to attract more buyers. This is my thought of doing this. Few thousand means closing costs are lower for me and the buyer.
Do buyers like lower price or higher prices? Sometimes it seems buyers like to pay more. Am I wrong?

My house has been on the market for about 6 weeks , how can iget it to sell quicker , without selling it for nothing , we are emigrating so i need to get as much as possible for it but it seems not to be selling we have had 5 viewings but they are not in a position to proceed until they sell their homes,i am torturing the estate agent but they just say well we v sent it out , i know they cant pull people in off the streets just wanted any extra ideas , have declutterd redecorated in neutral style scrubbed until have no fingers left and does anyone recomend using a couple of estate agents..or indeed doing it them selves..?
sure wondering star its in an area called eaglescliffe and is already competitively priced for a 4 bed 164 995 as there are many in the same postcode andin the next street for upto 100k + our si slightly smaller in dimensions but i mean only a foot or two.not sure what else ot add without adding the link …lol

I live on the north east of England in a really nice area. We have a 4 bed detached house and want to sell it quickly without having to drop the price too much.
Are there any tactics worth using apart from using an estate agent? Like using the internet?
