How do you sell a house? I’m a first time home buyer(well was, when I was 18), i’ve had my place for a couple years now. When I bought it I had A LOT of help from my family. Now that I want to sell it, (and my family wants for me to hold on to it), which i’ve been itching to leave this place since I got it, needless to say they are not going to help much and want me to do it mostly on my own. What are the steps to putting it up for sale? What would “for sale by owner” entail exactly? If I decide to get a real estate agent….what exactly do I ask them, what should I look for, and what is the step by step process of profiting from my investment, and squaring away the house to another buyer, in the quickest and simplest fashion?
