I am not in the position to buy a house or townhome just yet, so I still have to rent. I was thinking perhaps it may be a better idea to rent a HOUSE instead of an apartment in an apartment complex, etc., because at least in a house, its “stand alone” and I wont have to worry about neighbors stomping on my head, hearing their noise or being subjected to their bad habits that may disturb other tenants.
Am I right? Or are there disadvantages to renting a house as opposed to renting an apartment, that I am not aware of?
i cant exactly buy just now bcz of credit - my credit isnt good.

My wife and I really can’t afford to buy a house right now and we rent a small house now for $550 a real deal! I treat this place as if it were my own mow the acre lawn keep up the house etc.. But it’s now way too small for us as for my wife is pregnant.

How fast can you sell house that is quick deeded?

If i quick claim deed an investment house to my son how fast can he resell it? We have a buyer and need to turn it fast so he can buy a house with the cash. There is no mortgage on the property and will sell for $30.000. Does he have to register the deed and wait or can he resell it with another quick claim deed? Also if it is a gift he should not have to show it as an income or should we make a loan contract with him to pay us back?

We’re living in California.
The houses in our area have dropped tremendously, rent wise.
One of us is making $2,400 a month,
I’m making $300
and the third is making $400.
Aside from the obvious, a house requires it’s own necessities like water and power, yeah I know. My basic question is, how hard is it to rent a house? Not buy. Rent.
The house we’re interested in is approximately $2,000 a month.

Currently, I am a college student and looking to buy a house so I would be able to rent it out and then later on sell it for profit. The location of the house I am planning on buying is around the campus of UC Riverside. There are currently brand new houses that will be selling from the low $500,000. I was planning on putting a small amount for the down payment, then getting maybe a 30-year mortgage, and with the money renting it out to students I would be able to use that money to pay off the mortgage.
Because there are big risks with all the money involved and complications that can occur, I need all the advice and help I am able to get.
