Where to rent a house in Portsmouth/Portland for just a summer weekend?

We need to find a place to rent a house just for a weekend in Portland or Portsmouth just for a weekend. Every place we find you have to rent the whole week. This would be for July. Thanks!

    Look at craigslist.com at sublets/temporary rentals. Probably best way to find a temp rental.

    There are a few places I’ve heard of on Hampton Beach that rent out for the weekend, I think. Have you considered a hotel/motel since it’s just for the weekend? I know it’s not the same, but you’re going to be very hard pressed to find a place with anything but a weeklong minimum.
    Try Wells, ME beach area too.
