We hired out hte roof repair, but did the rest ourselves. That means starting with the roof. Since it sounds like you may end up ripping it off, it would be a good time to think ahead about adding a floor or expanding. However, I have been in the construction industry for 7 years and I suggest that you have people who are licensed and insured bid on the projects. Be sure to get the estimates on paper and get at least 3 estimates on each project. Remember if it seems to good to be true it probably is not true.
