Be warned though that he may wander off and find nicer lodgings, particularly if any other cat muscles in on his territory. Other cats could come and spoil their home, or have a fight with it and it could get hurt. Cats prefer to be in the warm. If I was you, I'd put the cat in a catery, - Better safe than sorry!
