I am very excited but nervous at the same time, I have just purchased my first home with my husband & two young children. Its about 30 Years old, fibro home with built ins & regular size bedrooms (3), Open Plan. Would like some Idea’s to make it look fresher & younger. Any decoration tips greatly appreciated!

Home and Garden TV has some great ideas and if you get desperate in your re-modeling you could apply for one of their shows,
Spice Up My Kitchen and Save my Bath are two great shows that deal with the two most difficult areas of renovating.

I’m guessing by the app. age you are saying, things could be a bit dark. Figure out your style and start changing, remember paint is the first and least expensive way to change the look of any room. Without seeing the home we cannot see what you need to change. I always get the style, maybe magazines will really help-then go after it. If you know your style then paint, and the rest will follow.
