You basically have to advertise a lot in the area you live, lots of handbills stuck to telephone poles, grocery store bulletin boards, craig's list and an ad in the local paper etc.

Tell people you are going to sell to the highest bidder and give them a couple of dates they can look at the house before the bidding begins.

then sit back and take the bids in, then work the phones with the most serious bidders until you have the best deal for you.  be sure to hang on to the second and third place bidder's contact info in case the first bidder falls through.</description>
